Laptop junkie haven with two pinball machines when you get tired of crackin' out on myspace, relatively little cellphone abusers, and music that's more interesting than not. Not completely dominated by hipsters--there's a good assortment of people representing a good cross-section of real live portlanders. Rotating artwork and linger-friendly. The only catch is that they close at 6pm.

Food: Sandwiches and bagels. Interesting soups. Nice pastries.

Drink: I'm a black coffee drinker but they have more yuppified stuff if you are into that. They also have tea and beer.
