It's a friendly, neighborhood spot.
Food: The croissants are pretty tasty!
Drink: When I had the cappuccino, it ranked in my top 5 for Portland. Otherwise, a tasty cup of caffeine goodness.

A fun little neighborhood place across from Mount Scott Community Center. Lots of small tables, perfect for the lone coder.
Food: Bagels with cream cheese on the side that doesn't come from a tube. It seems like a simple thing to want, but dang it if I haven't run into lots of those silver tubes of cream cheese. It's never enough and always messy.
Drink: Coffee, coffee, coffee! And espresso!
