*** CLOSED UNTIL APRIL 2010 *** I set up a meeting at this place (been there many times before) only to find that it's gutted for a remodel or something. The sign on the door says it will be back open some time in April.

It is welcoming and homey. I enjoy the fact that I can have coffee and read there, and not feel uncomfortable even a little.
Food: It is ok, I go there for the coffee. However the panini sandwich was pretty good.
Drink: Outstanding! The wonderful thing about this place is the consistency of the coffee drinks. My favorite is an extra hot Carmel Lattee. It is a very good drink, every single time, no matter who made it. I love that it is never bitter. I use to be a starbucks fan, however Portland Coffee House is my new favorite.

Unfortunately, I've had a bad experience the last few times here. The WiFi has been slow or down completely. This may be my last time here.

I like the spot, the service was friendly... and often funny.
Food: Their pastries are fine... the lemon bars were supper tasty. Then again, I had been fasting when I bought one.
Drink: Good coffee, great beans and tasty espresso.

Has an old house feel in the middle of downtown. This place is true to its east-side counterpart.
Food: I haven't tried anything, but they have pre-made sandwiches and pastries.
Drink: Juices, coffee. Pretty standard.
