The great '50s singing group, The Drifters, once sang, "They say the neon lights are bright on Broadway/They say there's always magic in the air/But when you're walkin' down that street and you ain't had enough to eat/The glitter rubs right off and you're nowhere." We say, if you ain't had enough to eat while on Broadway in Northeast Portland, stop in and see us. Situated at the corner of Portland's first eastside streetcar stop, McMenamins on Broadway overlooks the historic Irvington District. Make your way up the sweeping front staircase and you'll find an English-style pub with an ornate back bar and plenty of booth and table seating. Antique stained glass doors beckon pool sharks into the game room where pool tables and televised sporting events make for an entertaining afternoon. The Rose Quarter looms just to the west, making the pub the perfect stop-off before or after Blazer games.
