The Barley Mill -- McMenamins' oldest pub -- is still a Southeast Portland favorite where it has radiated tie-dyed good vibes at the corner of Hawthorne Boulevard and SE 17th for some 20-plus years.Serving tasty food and beer since 1983, the cozy Barley Mill is also festooned with colorful artwork and artifacts everywhere you look, including some great Grateful Dead memorabilia.Another good-times magnet is our classic Brunswick pool table. Families are most welcome, and kids especially like our sunny upstairs and our outdoor dining area.
